3 months back, we decided it was time to do some re-arranging of the floor space in order to make more room for lifting and allow more access to the pull up structure. The structure is commonly used for both warmups and WODs, so the old structure in the corner was creating traffic jams quite often. It was bitter sweet to tear down the old structure which I designed and built myself, but at least we got to keep some of it.
I drew up another plan and bid it out to 3 local welders. Joker MFG. got the job and here we are today with a really sweet rig.
Features:
-22 Pull Up Bars (11 bare steel and 11 textured powder coat)
-8 Wall Ball Stations (Bottom edges at 9′ and 10′)
-6 Squat/Bench Press Stations with plastic lined j-hooks
-5 Climbing Ropes 15′ High
-4 High Ring Stations
-7 Low Ring Stations
Getting this structure to fit our space was no easy task. We barely have 15′ of height to the ceiling, there are beams, cables and air conditioning ductsto work around, and we already had a layout on the floor that we did not want to change. Big thanks to Mike from Joker for the meticulous measuring and attention to detail that made this possible. Between 4 guys we did the install of this rig and the tear down/reconfig of the old rig in 8 hours total and there were no errors. There’s $10,000 of your membership dues hard at work, now treat it nice and clean your nasty chalk milk off it when you’re done.
