Theo Fong 11/30/99-1/21/21

Some of you are already aware, but most will probably be learning for the first time that our community suffered a tragic loss in the early morning hours of Thursday, January 21. Theodore Fong was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident in the area of 65th St. and Highway 50. It is unclear exactly how the accident occurred at this time, but there does not appear to have been any other vehicles involved.

Theo was just 14 years old when he first walked into Aquila Fitness. Our community has had the opportunity to watch him grow up and develop from a skinny quiet kid into a confident, ambitious and physically impressive young man. He has been a staple in the gym over the past 7 years with an infectious smile and a level of determination we should all aspire to. Prior to the pandemic he worked at a local trampoline park and he had just recently begun a local firefighting academy. We are devastated to lose a longtime staple of our community and a young life with such potential.

Theo had just turned 21 years old in November and leaves behind his parents Harvard and Linda, his twin sister Quinn, and his younger brother Tycho who just joined Aquila Fitness this past October. We will be performing the following tribute WOD for Theo during our regular classes on Saturday January 30th. We will be also collecting donations to help his family with expenses. Please consider making a contribution if you can.
