Cori hit a 315 deadlift on Monday! Cori deadlifted 310 about a year ago, but hasn’t been up quite that high since. On this day she had progressed from 185 to 305 making one lift per minute and adding 10 lb each time. So she hit 305 on the 13th deadlift then failed the 315 on the 14th attempt. Cori waited a couple minutes and went back for the 315 and set a new PR. A great lift for a 120# athlete!

Note: Cori’s back does round substantially in this video. It is important to understand that for those of you who are here for increased fitness, health and improvement in quality of life it is not acceptable or necessary to deadlift this heavy with this type of form. This is a competitive athlete who is well aware of the risks associated with lifting this heavy with form errors. When training as a competitive athlete it is sometimes necessary to assume the risks of extreme training. Please do not look at the form in this effort and conclude that it is ok for you to lift with poor form. This form is really not that bad, but there is a substantial risk for injury here. In other words, do not try this at home kids.
