Josh and Harlan coaching up the 4:30 foundations class.
Learning functional movement with safety and efficacy requires diligent coaching and a commitment to mastering fundamentals. There are many aspects to learning the functional movements we practice in CrossFit. Because functional movements are so demanding in terms of the array of skills required to perform them well, you can improve in many dimensions at once, even while learning the basics.
We have always taken pride in our ability to coach our athletes here at CF East Sac and get people moving well. Lately we have been working harder than ever to develop our skills and provide the best coaching you can get anywhere. This morning as I coached the morning foundations class, it was apparent that our commitment to fundamentals and attention to detail is paying off. Most of our beginner level athletes were able to perform quite proficiently on the clean, and some where doing it amazingly well. Then I watched Josh and Harlan applying the skills we have been working on and their class performed beautifully as well.
Great job to all of our members and coaches alike on helping make this a special kind of training environment.
