Deadlift 5-5-3-3-20

For Time:
10-8-6-4-2 Deadlift @ 75% 3RM
Run 200m

Attention
Schedule:
Normal Saturday schedule resumes today.  Both Foundations and Level 1 are offered at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM.  Please keep your eye on the blog as we do have many competitions and seminars going on throughout summer.  There will be canceled classes and modifications over the next 3 months.

Apparel:
Lost and found is hanging up on the PU Bars.  Come get your stuff.

There are about 25 various CF t-shirts that I had to get rid of that are also hanging up, many are brand new.  Please help yourselves to them.  One man can only have so many CF shirts.  Please do not be offended if you see a shirt you got me on the rack, I seriously have over 100 CF shirts and I hope someone will wear the ones I don't have days of the week for.

REGIONALS!!!!! June 3rd-5th in Santa Clara
Hotel Info-
I have reserved a block of rooms at the Embassy Suites in Santa Clara.  It's a nice hotel, we stayed there last year, and it has top notch breakfast buffet each morning.  Rooms are $95 per night.  Our contact to book a room is Joanie Kawashima at (408) 845-7206.  Tell her you are with CF East Sac to get the special rate and book it now, we are only 3 weeks out.

Volunteers-
The regional events are largely run by volunteers from the CF community such as yourselves.  Please consider volunteering.  The event organizer is reaching out to the affiliates to call for help.  If you want to help, go to Facebook (I know… lame, but it's not my deal), search for: CrossFit Games – NorCal Regional, and vlick on the Volunteer link (on upper left under the red games logo!)

And Finally The Moment You All Have Waited For!!!
Announcing Team CFES 2011!!!
1) Justin Riley
2) Travis Cassidy
3) Blake Bender
4) Brooke Bergeson
5) Loren Feil
6) Cherie Nabeta

Congrats to you all on earining your spots on the team.  It was a tough decesion on our part with much debate between all returning team members.  The placings for the 3rd male and female teammates were close enough to call statistically insignifigant and the order came out differentely based on world, regional and in-house rankings, so basically there was no fair way to do it based on rankings alone.  Our decesion was based on who we believed could help the team the most, and I repeat this was a very difficult decesion as all the athletes are so different and we don't know exactly what we are up against.
