We all get back pain.  Well at least according to the Mayo Clinic, most Americans will experience back pain at some point in their lives.  I have written on the issue on a number of occasions but this post is particularly good at showing why you get back pain.

IMG_0935After some gnarly training on Saturday, I knew I had gotten out of position and was paying the price.  Mobility all weekend got me feeling back to 90%.  After a trip to East Sac Chiro for some A.R.T. and an adjustment from our beloved Dr. Sandy Bell, I am ready to deadlift.  And now this… my new desk chair.

It’s not as comfy as it looks, but it is allowing me to get work done while mobilizing my issue.  I managed to write this post as well as two others and answer a few emails while switching back and forth every few minutes.

The point is, stop making excuses for your mobility problems and create solutions.  Then do as I say and not as I do, and put in more preventative maintenance.  I’ve had hip flexor issues in the past and done things like this regularly to solve the issue.  Then I get myself feeling good and neglect the underlying issue until it rears it’s ugly head again.  Not this time, I got to lift shit tomorrow, and the next day, and the next, and the next…
