CrossFit for Connecticut, Burpees For a Buck

10, 15, 20 Burpee Pull Up
10, 15, 20 DB Ground to Overhead 50/30's
Rest as needed

(first round is 10 reps, 2nd is 15, 3rd is 20)

In wake of the recent tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary school, our buddy Micha Zamora of WarriorZ Fitness had a great idea to get the CrossFit community involved and raise support for the families of the victims.  Burpees for a Buck. 

The way this will work, is that you all donate as much as you possibly can from now until January 4th.  For every dollar that gets donated, our staff owes a burpee.  It's that simple.  You pay to support a very important cause, and you also get to cause your coaches suffering at the same time.  We will keep a whiteboard in the back of the box to track our progress in donations and burpee pay backs.

Please give this some thought and do what you can.  The CrossFit culture is very much about supporting each other and helping others who have suffered.  Lets all pitch in and hope that in some way we can help those who have suffered the greatest loss and show our support for our fellow Americans in Newton, Connecticut.

When you donate, you must leave the name of your affiliate in the message section of the form so we can track who's affiliate owes the most burpees.  The money we raise is what is really important, so feel free to write WarriorZ or Rocklin or Anywhere Fit in that field if you catch my drift.

This fundraiser is open to all organizations who wish to participate.  Please spread the word as much as possible to all your friends who own gyms, or really anyone who may know what a burpee is.
