The All Girl Challenge 2011
The original CrossFit Bench Mark WOD's are a very well rounded battery of physical tests, requiring a great breadth and depth of physical capacities. Some of these workouts can be finished by sheer will power if you just keep working and refuse to give up. Others will require you to addess weaknesses and increase your capacities before you can even attempt them. For instance, you can't complete 30 snatches for time @ 135/95 (Isabel) if your max snatch is 115/85. In order to complete 30 reps at the required weight you are going to have increase you max snatch to a weight significantly higher than the prescribed weight. Gaining the required skills and capacities to complete all of these workouts at the Rx level shows makes quite a statement about an athletes fitness level.
The challenge is simple. Complete all of the original CrossFit Benchmark WODs in one year, as Rx. I will be posting the WODs with Female Rx standards in the gym and making a dedicated score board for those who want to participate.
This challenge is going to require you to vary slightly from our normal programming in order to address your weaknesses and gain all the abilities required to complete all the WODs. If you are going to attempt this challenge, we will help you figure out how and when to work things into your training so you can get there. For those who complete the challenge, we will be making t-shirts that read, "I have done all the GIRLS at CrossFit."

Note: We do not currently have a bench press, but we will get one so we can do Linda or Lynne. In the mean time just get real good at push ups and dips, you will be fine.
