Rest Day
John Michelmore and son Kevin went at it on the 100 burpee vertical leaps yesterday. Nice hops boys.
***Announcement***
Current members who have not completed Fundamentals Training must do so by the end of January. Beginning in February, no persons will be allowed to participate in group classes until Fundamentals Training is completed. Effective immediately, new members are required to complete Fundamentals Training before attending group training. We have grown significantly and it is imperative that all group class participants have exposure to the fundamentals so they do not disrupt the flow of the class. We are posting openings for one on one fundamentals sessions on the white board each week. You can sign up at the gym or contact a trainer to schedule your sessions.
The Fundamental Movements are the back bone of the CrossFit program. No matter what your experience level, we should always strive to attain a higher level of mastery of movement. If you are highly experienced you should still attend fundamentals training and try to make yourself that much more proficient in the basic movements. If you do not have CrossFit experience we need to get you familiar with these movements, our coaching cues, and what faults you need to work on. EVERYONE will benefit from these sessions.
Sometimes I ask myself, "Why am I doing this?" Especially in the middle of a WOD. Here is an inspiring video reminding us what it is all about.

Post your comments on why "You Are CrossFit". We want to hear what our members get off on.
