Whether you have foot problems or not, this video gives some tips on how to gain strength and stability in the foot. If you just came on the site to see what the WOD is, then make a mental note to come back later and watch. Also, what does everyone think about KStarr telling us not to ice/cryotherapy anymore? If you don't know what I'm talking about, look through the last couple posts on MWOD.

My name is Brother Mike, and I love to ice. If it’s sore, put a bag of frozen peas on it and it magically gets better. Sore all over, 20# bag of ice and some water in the tub and you are a new person.
That said, I have played with compression a bit and it seems to have a similar effect – compression/exertion of sore muscles has always worked well (sore? well go do a light workout and it will work out some of the kinks). So I am willing to give the limited icing thing a shot (note that they say icing is still good for pain relief so long as its short icing not used to reduce swelling) and switch over to compression.

You may need to look closer at the post. I think K-star is poo pooing ice and trying to sell a fancy tens unit in the place of ice.

Oh I know, but short of the pimping of some dude’s unit there are some interesting articles posted. Also, when I talk about compression I have tried the 5.99 Ace bandages and they work great- I am not going to go nuts and buy some gizmo.

I am not gonna run out and buy some guy’s uh….unit, but I did watch the whole post and look up the links. I %#!?¥% ing hate cold, and it hasn’t helped with any of my issues. I was, however, inspired to buy a voodoo band and try some compression.

Just happened to check the class schedule and the strength class is listed to start at 5:00p. Is this an error in entry or did it change?

6 PM it is. I will get that fixed today.
