NickJMedal
Nick Johnson is making it happen.  Two days ago he placed 8th out of 126 swimmers in the 1500m free at junior nationals yesterday and is currently ranked 9th in the nation in the event.  It was a personal best for him by 23 sec putting him 13 seconds below 2008 Olympic Trials time standard.  Yesterday he Nick swam the 400m free in 3:57.2 putting him more than a two seconds below the last games standard.  Standard times for the next Olympic Games will be released in January 2010.  This are outstanding achievements!  We will be expecting see Nick to qualified and competing in the Olympic Trials for the 2012 Games.  Amazing performances young man, you are a true competitor!  Way to show the world how CrossFit can up your swimming game.  Nick will be competing in the 800m free today.  All of us here at CFES are proud of you rooting you on, keep it coming.
