125 pull ups in one WOD will often times end in a disastrous case of hamburger hands like these.  Although there is no fitness benefit gained from ripping your hands wide open there is much to be gained from the realization that you can finish what you started regardless of any discomfort you might experience along the way.  Josh Everet said it best in Every Second Counts when he said, "if you are hurt you can play, if you are injured you cannot."  This is an expample of being hurt and pushing through.  We all know that if we set out to do 125 pull ups there is a good chance that this can happen.  If you set out to do the WOD as Rx'ed, and there is no injury, then you have to finish.  Failure to finish what you start can result in a weak mental state on future WODs.  Finishing what you started and knowing that you can push through to the end in the face of adversity will empower you beyond belief.  OPT said in the movie that everything in life seems easier after doing CrossFit, relationships, finances, work, "you don't know what the Filthy Fities are like."   If you can get to the level where burning bleeding hands will not stop you from reaching the goal, you can do anything you set your mind to.  Great job Anne Harty, you are a true blue CrossFitter, unstoppable in any aspect of life.
