Pat Sherwood, Austin Malleolo, and James Hobart were in town yestrerday on a road trip filing outdoor mimmal equipment workouts. After deadlifting with Mark Bell over at Midtown Strength and Conditioning, they called us up and we met up at the nasty hill by Nimbus dam for down and dirty WOD.
The workout ended up being a partner carry up the 200m hill. It was decided that you can't piggyback carry an unconcious person, so firemans carry was the standard. It was about a 3 minute effort up the steep hill, and it sucked just as much to get carried up as it did to carry someone else. Nobody mentioned doing a second round after doing it once.
Pat carried Ian, the camera guy who weighed about 180. Austin and James caried each other, and I carried Travis. Trav got the short end of the stick weighing about 165, and having to carry myself weighing about 185-190.
