Happy Monday everyone. When deadlifting today make sure you maintain your lumbar curve and keep those knees out. If you don't, then you might not end up running very far like this guy. I don't think he runs that much anyway though.

I am just wondering how the GHD wallballs went. Here is a video of GHD Wall Balls in action http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/C…HDWallBall.wmv
Oh, and in keeping with the non-creepy posts, I promise it is a video of GHD Wall Balls, not of anything Travis keeps on his phone . . .

  2. The pass out in the video was not due to the lifter’s incorrect form. What happened is known as a vasovegal reaction. The inter-thoracic pressure from the lift followed by more of that from the celebration scream caused the lifters heart rate to slow and blood pressure to drop. I have seen this happen and have been close myself a few times on max effort power cleans. It has been observed that people are more prone to vesovagal reactions when they are in a fasted state, so eat before you workout peeps.
I wonder if he knocked any teeth out. Looked like knocking his face into the dumbells was the worst thing going in that video.

  3. He actually doesn’t look like he does much of anything aside from dead lifting…

That 214kg snatch looks like ballet with a barbell.

  5. Seems like the guy in the video needs a deadlift lesson from the legend of power lifting: the Deisel Weasel

  6. I sure could have used Deisel’s coaching on my power cleans today… He’s an expert at that too:
