Here we have Jimmy, Denise, Mishell, Shelley, Jake, and Paula. They were a great group to work with last month and I look forward to helping them improve even more. Introduce yourself when you see them and if you have any tips about your experience being a beginner I'm sure they would love to hear them.

    Welcome November on-rampers! Have fun!

  2. You all are great! Welcome to the club!

  3. It dawned on me during wod this morning that I ought to focus more on and be thankful for what I can do already instead of what I still can’t.
Welcome On-Rampers! Get on board, buckle up, shut up, and enjoy your pain, bruises and bloody hands.

Gald to see another group of mid morning success stories. First one of you to post on the blog gets a prize! Who’s it going to be?

  5. Good job, on-rampers! Just keep showing up. That’s the hardest part.

  6. Same thing i say to each new class of badasses: It never gets easier, you just get faster.

  7. It’s worth every dollar and drop of sweat, blood, and sometimes tears. Welcome to the box On-rampers!

  8. The prize Chris is referring is that you can pick out a toy from the drive that would otherwise go to a small child in need… but help yourself.
@ Olga- you sure do seem to do a lot of deep thinking during your workouts. Amen nonetheless.

Chris, will the 2-hour Adaptations seminar this Saturday include a WOD, or should we come to one of the earlier classes as well….suggestions?

Olga- sounds like a good plan/advice. Constantly focusing on where you think you need work (the goats) without allowing yourself to enjoy the WODs that play to your strengths can be self defeating.
Welcome on-rampers. In the words of the late great philosopher Theodore Geisel, “Oh, the places you’ll go.”

  12. I had the pleasure of meeting a couple lovely ladies from this group yesterday! Way to go guys!
You know… my on-ramp group picture from August never made it to the blog 🙁 So sad.

  13. @ Blake – in that Crossfit is sure a lot like yoga – who would’ve thought.

Just another perk of the 9am Foundations class in getting to meet on the new kids on the block. Welcome to all!!!
