John asked me yesterday how many heavy rope skips should he sub in for double unders. I then asked him how he planned to get better at double unders. He quickly drew me a graph to show his double under improvement and explained to me that his improvement will come between the ages of 60 and 70.
I was laughing pretty good at this graph. In all seriousness guys, if you don’t make yourself do some number of double unders during your WODs, you are not going to get the skill. I reccommend you either scale the number, count attempts vs successful reps, or both. Whatever you do the only medicine for DU avoidance is to learn them.
