The workout did say ground to overhead any way.  I mentioned snatch, clean and press/push press/jerk, but I did not mention the clean grip muscle snatch, which is what I am calling this creation.

We all know Rich and Curt are buddies, but the funny thing is that they both created this movement on opposite sides of the gym without seeing the other do it.  We spend all this time teaching technique and efficient movement patterns, but sometimes when the clock goes on all that stuff flies right out the window.  Had this looked unsafe in any way, I’d have stopped them, but since I didn’t see any real danger here I just decided to bust out the camera.  If any of you ever visit another box, please do not make up movements while you’re there.

BTW, you guys aren’t the first people I have seen bastardize the clean and jerk and the muscle snatch in this way.
