In the name of constantly varied fitness, we want YOU to design a Workout Of The Day! Be creative, be brutal, make a WOD that you can crush, or one that will crush you, name it what you want. Anything goes as far as skill level, length, rep schemes, exercises, intervals, teams or whatever. Use other CrossFit blogs as well as ours or your WOD journals to get ideas. Try to make a workout that you think would be highly beneficial in improving general fitness. Selected workouts will be put into our program for all members to perform. If anyone comes up with an exceptional workout, we may consider putting it up on the wall of fame.

Chris Michelmore tries to catch his breath after the burpee storm Saturday. Chris is the swim coach for the San Jose State women's swim team. He is using CrossFit as the swimmers main form of conditioning outside of the pool. He is also mixing short bouts of swimming into CrossFit style workouts with remarkable results. Chris says the CrossFit training has allowed some of his athletes with overuse injuries swim significantly less while improving overall fitness. The swimmers have been able to consistently get personal best swimming times while avoiding aggravation of their injuries. Check out Chris's blog at http://www.sscrossfit.blogspot.com/
