AMRAP 90 Seconds:
5 Dips
5 DB Deadlift
5 DB Hang Squat Clean
Rest 90 sec,
Repeat for 5 Total Intervals
Four weeks post surgery and I now have full normal range motion. Although I have been able to get in some decent squatting and various one arm exercises, yesterday was the first day introducing some light strengthening movements specific to the lats function. It's amazing how little force it takes to feel a stimulus. Even the weight of my own arm is significant for the time being. I was able to do these movements with minimal discomfort. It felt good to feel the muscle contract again and begin to get the idea of what it's job is.
Using Chuck Norris' Total Gym cracks me up a bit, but it is the perfect tool for mimicing functional movements as well as isolating the lat later on as it gets stronger. So laugh with me now, but don't let me catch you on there doing bis and tris.
