Starting today, there will be a box at the gym to collect donations of used or new books benefiting local Sacramento students. While elementary school books are prioritized, we welcome all books. If you don't have any books to donate but would still like to contribute, please see Rae.
Where do the books go?
Sacramento READS! is a local initiative to ensure that all children in Sacramento can read on grade level by the end of third grade. Sacramento READS! will deliver the books to school sites representing all five city school districts as well as a number of partner organizations listed below.
