I remember when Jon first came to the gym. He was so fired up to be working out again and he became a CrossFit zealot in no time at all. Within the first week he wanted to know if there would be any chance he could get modifications that would allow him to participate in competitions.
At this point I had done 3 initial sessions with Jon and I could tell the prosthetic was not going to hold him back. I just told him that I knew he would be able to compete at the Rx level one day and to forget about modifications.
It has been truly amazing to see Jon out there throwing down and competing next to us the last 2 weeks. If you think double unders or box jumps are hard, try them on one leg!
Jon,
Thanks for your great attitude and relentless determination. You continue to inspire us all brother!
