AO teaches new members Patrick and Kim the jumping pull up on their first day of On-Ramp. This movement will turn to a banded kipping pull up, then a kipping pull up, and eventually maybe even a muscle up. Many of you out there have been through these steps, or are still trying to climb the skill ladder, but it all starts with a solid base in the fundamentals.
Each step in a movement progression provides an important piece of the overall picture. Mastery of the basics is how people get really good at this stuff, the desire to skip to more advanced movements without first mastering the basics is the beginners curse.
