Got to give Dave Mering some props on some beautiful pausing front squats yesterday. He was hitting easy sets of 3 at 165. If he wasn’t so old, we would have made him lift significantly more. Dave is 57 years old and is an accomplished swimmer. A lifetime of hard training has lead to some aches and pains, as well as a couple surgeries which makes Dave about 127 in CrossFit years. It’s great to see someone like this moving so beautifully in our gym, great work buddy!
Factoid:
Many of you may not be aware, but Dave is the alleged WODfather of a notorious motorized-scooter gang who refer to themselves as The Wolf Pack.
