Everyone has to pick things up, and sometimes life requires us to need to move significantly heavy objects from the floor. If we can teach you to lift safely, and make you strong, not only will you be more likely to remain independant into your elderly years, you will be far less likely to strain or injure your spine. Rumor has it that the deadlift was at one time called the health lift, and any variation of this movement will make one healthier when performed correctly.
