4:00 PM classes have started. We have a strong group of young athletes beginning CrossFit. We have seen amazing performance increases in young athletes that started CrossFitting with us over the past year and a half. It is going to be amazing to sit back see what these young bucks will do after being dosed with Elite Fitness. Above, Travis goes over fundamentals of the front squat with Parker and Payton Ksidakis, and Jenna and MacKenzie Bellinger. Then they get right into it. The body bars are as heavy as anyone went that day. Until these kids show a level of mastery over the exercise they will use minimal weight and emphasis will be on position.
Note: The 4:00 PM classes is open to all ages.
The front squat is an essential exercise in the CrossFit Program. Many of you may have noticed that we do a lot of them for warmup. Its not because we hate your wrists, its because we need to get you flexible and comfortable in this position, so we can teach you to clean properly. We don't mean the dishes, we mean barbells! Although this may seen unimaginable to many of you at this time, be patient and keep suffering through it and eventually you will gain the flexibility to be comfortable in this position.
