Hello Everyone. Annie and I have loaded up the wagons and moved out West. Well actually East…to Connecticut so I can bang out my intern year in surgery. GOD willing we will be back in sunny Sac by next July. I’m not much for goodbyes as they make me sad so we kept our departure low key. I hope we didn’t offend anyone.
We want to thank everyone at CFES for your friendship, camaraderie and esprit de corps. For the last 18 years I have never lived in one place much longer then a year and have never felt like anyone place was home until I met Justin and Travis and the CrossFit East Sac crew. It puts a smile on our faces to log into the CFES site and see what you guys are up to. We are 2,882 miles away and are not certain if we will get to return to CA next year but everyday we log onto the CFES site to see how “our gym” is doing.
Thank you all for the great workouts that kept us sane and me out of jail. Thank you for all the career, legal, and relationship advice. Thanks for listening, pushing, encouraging and being a great group of motivated people.
I believe that everyone that you meet leaves an impression on you and imbues something into your character that forever changes you. It allows you to see the world from another point of view and to use their strengths to capitalize on your own. It has been a privilege to forge a friendship with you all through the tough WODs , CFES dinner outings and post WOD beer drinking BS sessions.
We wish everyone fair winds and following seas. We hope that our paths parallel again soon and that there will be a shit load of margaritas.
