Ashley, after working hard and paying attention to detail, has been able to recover from a rather frustrating back injury.  She has been dedicated to herself, her fitness and her recovery.  Great Job!  You are a pleasure to have around this facility and we are very lucky to have you a part of this CFES family.  Let’s hope AJ doesn’t encourage her to spend too much time in the city!  (Yes boys, she is spoken for…)

Great job Ash, still strong as hell after all youve been through and more inportantly making it look really good. For those of you who don’t know Ash has struggled with disc issues up and down her spine for years now. The answer is never to give up on your strength and fitness, but to eliminate mobility issues and perfect your movement form/technique. Disc issues don’t go away if you just stop exercising, they just continue to get worse. If you have them, become a movement and mobility expert before its too late.

Great write up Lene. Ash has been working her butt off while working thru these injuries. So very proud of her. She is stonger than ever! AND, I’ll try not to encourage her too much Lene 😉

Justin, hit it on the head. Movement and mobility is key while working thru injuries, etc. Never give up is exactly right! Well said Justin. You guys do a great job coaching and supporting your athletes at East Sac.

Thank you for this unexpected post Chris, it truly made me feel really happy and grateful for the support. and thank you Justin, AJ, Matt,Jen and LB for the love. It means more to me than you know!!The awesome support of my coaches, friends and AJ has helped get me through a, at times, discouraging and frustrating year or so. I’m so grateful for my strength body and spirit despite set backs. There is always something you can work on, something you can improve upon in fitness no matter the injury. As Justin said very well, mobility and correct movement are crucial. Also, STRENGTHEN YOUR CORE!! I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to take care of your core and not to try and cash checks with your legs or shoulders that your core can’t back up like I did : ) Our spines are our lifeline; keep ’em strong and mobile. I hope I can inspire others to never give up and stay STRONG in body, mind and spirit! Much love to my CFES family!
