Masters talent level was high last Friday with a visit from Del Lafountain. Del who is a partner in South Tahoe CrossFit is less than a year out from a full knee replacement surgery. He is squatting below parallel and I witnessed him clean and jerk 195. Del is also a conditioning monster which was fun to witness.
Harlan and Del have been following separate individualized programs from fitness legend James Fitzgerald of OPT. They requested OPT to align their programs so they could hit the same WOD on the same day as Del passed through town with his wife Michelle.
Fun to see a couple masters training hard together and having a good time suffering.
