Today is meant to be an endurance test. No it’s not the “fun” stuff we normally do, but it is important to go long from time to time and to test yourself mentally in that way. If you look at this post today and decide to skip this one, you are doing yourself a disservice. Every workout does not need to be entertaining to be an important piece of the fitness puzzle.
We have been designing our program lately to prepare you for the CrossFit Open which starts next Thursday! The power snatch is a staple movement in the open which we have seen every year. Drilling this movement will be crucial to maximizing your potential. A few others we are almost guaranteed to see are burpees, box jumps, shoulder to overhead, wall balls, toes to bar, double unders, thrusters, and pull ups.
Its never too late to work on your weaknesses. Sign up for the Open, face your weaknesses, get measured, finish the 5 week event determined and motivated to do even better next year.
