Got to give Kate W some love on finishing “Grace” earlier this week. We have been working on her lifting skills every Tuesday and this week after doing some heavy reps, I tricked her into doing 30 clean and jerks at 95#. Started off with a goal of doing 10 minutes of clean and jerks every 30 seconds. When she got to the 20th rep I told her to go another 5 minutes. There was one missed interval and one missed rep, so the 30 reps took just under 16 minutes. 95# from the floor to over head for 30 reps is a great accomplishment and builds a ton of confidence. I made her hold the last rep up so I could get a picture. Very proud, great work!
