After a quick meeting at the Habit Burger, Lene took Trav and I over to Lean on Me to show us his new pull up rig. I was being a smart ass and putting the pin at the bottom of the weight stack and lifting it on all the machines. Travis randomly said, “Hey why not pull a max deadlift?” Even though it was rest day I thought, why not?

455 is not a huge lift by today’s elite CF athlete standards, but this was a 30# PR for me. Pretty funny and unfortunately you can’t really hear it, but just after the bar comes off the floor I let out a huge fart. I was stoked with the PR and even more stoked that there wasn’t anything on deck if you know what I mean. Sometimes shit happens in the gym. Have at it.
