The Johnson bros show us one of the more difficult body weight exercises.  They are shown here working on negatives, or the lowering phase of the movement.  Negatives are a common way that gymnasts develop strength in new movements.  Being head over heels brings about a very different challenge to the core muscles and reflexes of the body.  Learning body control in an inverted position will enhance spatial awareness and create more stability when turned right side up.
