5 Rounds:
10 Toes To Bar
3 Rope Climbs
20 Box Jump 24/20"
Back for the 3rd year in Sacramento is the Fight For Air Climb to benefit the American Lung Association. We have had teams participate in the event the last 2 years and it was a blast. I missed the event myself while coaching our athletes in CrossFit competitions, but I plan to be there this year.
We have a team registered under CrossFit East Sac, and you can click here to register. Those of you who have done this before know there is a trick in the fine print, so the rest of you be warned this time around. It is $25 to register for the event, but the agreement requires you to raise an additional 100 dollars. If you do not raise the money from sponsors/friends, they will charge your card. So essentially this is a $125 event, which is a bit pricy, but remember it is for charity and it is an important cause. So do it for the cause, and if you can't pony up the $125, pay the $25 and actually use the fundraising site to contact friends and family. It shouldn't be that hard to gather $125 from all your peeps.
Oh yeah, you are encouraged to bring a sandbag or a weighted vest, or really anything that makes climbing the 612 steps of Sacramento's Wells Fargo building more fun.
