Use Your Recovery Day Wisely

The CrossFit hero WOD's are some of the most challenging workouts ever created.  Just to finish them as Rx'd is a huge accomplishment.  "Jason" is no exception.  A WOD with 250 squats and 50 muscle ups is enough to leave you with a sick stomach, wobbly legs, and bloody wrists. I expect that many of you will be walking funny today and feeling tight.  Today would be a great day to do some dynamic range of motion exercises, foam rolling, and PNF stretching.  Spending some time working on your tight areas and trying to increase mobility will help speed your recovery and get you more prepared to come back strong on Monday.  I would advise you not to drink too much also, as alcohol slows recovery, but that would just be a waste of breath.
