Calling all runners, and weightlifting gymnasts too.  There is a group of East Sackers heading over to run the Urban Cow Half Marathon and 5k this Sunday.  Although we don't encourage long distance running as a good way to make yourself more fit, it is still a good test of your fitness.  Go out and see how you as a CrossFit athlete, and an untrained runner measures up to the people who train to run.  I bet you will surprise yourselves.  Matt P. says if you like to run you should get in on this one.  It is a certified course and a good day to shoot for PR's over flat shaded terrain.

You can click the image above to go to the website and resister.  You must pre-register for the race.  They will not be accepting entries on race day.  Wear a CF shirt and go beat someone who runs all the time.
