This will be our first year participating in the annual
Fight Gone Bad Fundraiser.  The
fundraiser will benefit Athletes For A Cause Prostate Cancer Foundation, and
the Wounded Warriors Project, which lends support to wounded vets and their
families.  The success of the Fight
Gone Bad fundraiser has grown tremendously over the last three years and we are
excited to take part for the first time this year.

On Saturday September 26, 2009 @ 10:00 AM we will perform
the Fight Gone Bad WOD along with 100’s of other affiliates around the
world.  We here at CFES have a fundraising goal of $1000 for this
year’s event.  If you plan to
workout with us on this Saturday we will be requiring a minimum of a $25 dollar
donation.  If you can’t make it
that day, please consider donating anyway.  If every member of CFES donates at least $25 we would raise
about $3000.  This is a great
opportunity to give back and to participate in another great CrossFit
event.  Lets make it happen.

To register for the event, click the FGB IV button in the upper right of the screen under events section and join the CFES team.  Make a minimum donation of $25, and start emailing or calling your friends to get them involved also.  People who register themselves and raise $150 will
receive a Fight Gone Bad IV tee shirt.

The first heats will go off at 10:00 AM and we will continue
running heats until everyone has done the WOD.  We will also be firing up the grill and having some beers
late into afternoon. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend to a
awesome CrossFit event, and show them what we are all about.  Please make your donations ASAP.  Once you have registered/donated, send
an email to justin@crossfiteastsac.com
with RSVP FGB4 in the subject line to get your name on our list.
Let me know how many will be attending so we can plan the WOD heats and
figure out how much food and drink to supply.  Mark this day on your calendars and get fired up, this is
going to be an epic day.
